Party Recap

I styled and created this party, perfect for any mom-to be! It's a small set up for a co-worker or a small baby shower at home. And it was super cheap! I wanted to make sure to get as much monster's theme into each element, so I baked cookies with blue and green candy bits with of course an eyeball on each one. I also used the leftover candies for favors and added some Hershey Dark Kisses to give it more color. Cupcakes were bought at the grocery store and I sprinkled blue sugar crystals for that final touch. I also placed them in green and blue cupcake wrappers. The cupcakes were also topped with Monster's Inc. cookies I found at the grocery store! I thought cotton candy would be a good way to represent Sulley's hair, so I made that into a little treat in blue and green spotted bags. I placed my topper tags on the bags since I did not need them for the cupcakes and wanted to showcase them. I created the banner and matching soda pop labels(they can be used for water bottles too). I just love how the soda pop colors POP! Last thing I made was matching diaper tags. These are great to insert when mailing the invites but always keep extra if people do bring diapers but forget their ticket. I thought Sulley could handle being in charge of that. ;)

Such a cute party! Where did you get the blue and green things for the backdrop? Also wondering where you got the bags for the cotton candy and the blue and green cotton candy?

The, monster cookies were actually from Walmart, last Summer. And the backdrop is from Target, a kind of streamer. Hope this helps!
