Party Recap

The perfect way to celebrate Galentine’s Day, a tropical flamingo brunch with your girls! The idea for this theme really just came from my love for flamingos and anything tropical. Who can relate?!

“We flamin-go together” was the perfect phrase for this girl’s brunch. I purchased a letter board from Target and painted it pink to match my color scheme.

I created a balloon bouquet that included a jumbo flamingo, an 18″ heart and 11″ hot pink, peach, rose gold, palm leaf, blush and rose gold balloons.

I made a mini 6ft balloon garland (using only 5″ balloons) so guests could easily reach the table. I added in palm leaves to tie in the tropical vibe. I purchased the tropical flowers at Whole Foods. The bouquet included birds of paradise, red ginger and tropical foliage.

Whole Foods also had a huge monstera leaf that I used as the “table runner”.

The menu was kept on the lighter side with mini pancakes, jumbo blueberry muffins and a fruit salad.

What’s a brunch without mimosas?! This is my new favorite mimosa combination. The pinkest juice I could find was raspberry lemonade. By itself, it is definitely too sweet for my liking, but it is PERFECTION with Chandon brut champagne. Top it with organic raspberries and you have yourself a delicious mimosa!

The heart plates are from Meri Meri. The tropical leaves napkins are from Paper Source last year. The flamingo food picks are from Target dollar spot last year. I always pick up little things like food picks and napkins when I see them to have on hand!

This brunch was so much fun and a theme that can definitely be used for other events, too!
