Party Recap
My daughter and her friends are obsessed with Erin Hunter's Warriors book series, so she requested it as a theme for her 11th birthday party. Not finding any Warriors party supplies anywhere, I created our own party. Keep in mind, these are not cute little cuddly kitty cats. These are brave, courageous, battling warrior cats!
Party Highlights
-
Desserts
The cupcake options featured Mouse Cakes, or Clan Cakes with the clan symbols on them.
-
Activities / Games
The kids "hunted" for "prey". We hid stuffed animals all around the front and back yard for them to stalk and find. We also had a contest to see who could lap up a bowl of water the fastest. Finally, door prizes and a Warrior Raffle ensured that everyone got at least one prize.
-
Party Favors
Party favors featured Warriors printouts, Warriors poetry magnets, and cat stickers.
-
Best Moment
I was worried the girls would think it was juvenile to race to lap up water from a bowl. However, they loved it! We had to play several times because they were having so much fun.
-
What People Ate
The "Fresh Kill" table featured eggs, fish, and mice.

These are great! Is there a template for these and the banner somewhere?

OMG! This is GREAT! I have a 12 year party coming up and I am stealing some of your ideas. I wonder how "The Cakery" would feel about making a cake to look like a dead squirrel?
