My goal was to put a modern twist on Disney's Little Mermaid. Having Ariel show up to read a story was big hit and so was the cake that I made myself with not a single cake making class under my belt!

The highlight was my two-tiered mermaid cake. I made it from scratch and it was D-LISH! I has never attempted something so elaborate, but it turned out great!

We had Ariel stop by for some game and story time. She was a hit!
