Twinkle 2 Elliyeen

Just like a lullaby, this gorgeous Twinkle Twinkle Little Star 2nd birthday was incredibly sweet in every way
From the stunning pastel balloon display to the incredible artistry of the custom desserts and floating clouds; every detail in this party was planned with precision and absolute perfection. I can honestly it is one of the best aspects of running a children’s party styling business – working seamlessly with other small businesses engaged to ensure that the colour palette was perfectly replicated through every layer of styling to deliver the client’s party vision.

Backdrop:
The backdrop was created by Pop the Balloon! Children’s Parties & Events and was based off an image that the client had provided and was hoping to recreate for her own daughter’s event. With the direction to not make the event ‘too pink’ – I explored the lilac and violet hues in place of the traditional blues and pinks to give the effect of the twinkling night sky just before the sun has fully set. The gorgeous chiffon side drapes sat prettily beside our new sparkly gold sequinned side drapes – the total effect was one that was soft and dreamy.

Balloons:
The remit for the balloons was to frame the entire setting to perfection using shades of pastel pinks / lilacs / blues and lemons accented by gold stars and confetti filled balloons using various sized balloons. I think you will agree that Keen Creations absolutely nailed this one! It featured a 4m garland across the top of the backdrop, a generous balloon display over our new candy cart spilling onto the floor. Both sides of the backdrop featured yet more balloons that pooled on the floor before sweeping halfway up both sides of the curtain drapes. And finally, we finished off the balloon styling with an additional floor garland that framed the pretty pastel plinth collection provided by @partymamma.partyhire. Soft LED lighting was then added to the base of the balloons and set to different colours to highlight the colours of the balloons.

Desserts:
I was beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside Mel from MelRose Cakes with respect to the desserts. My jaw literally hit the ground when the stunning 3-tiered birthday cake arrived, complete with fairy lights! And of course the colours matched the staging to perfection. Cake pops, cupcakes and custom-made cookies followed together with a macaron tower whose various cookies were again colour matched to the broader staging.

The Result?
The finished display was nothing short of breathtaking! And as if the staging, balloons and desserts were not enough, we created 2 final touches by way of hanging fluffy clouds and providing gold table cloths and chair sashes so that the tables the guests were seated at were just as pretty as the main displays. Confectionery in beribboned jars with gold ‘Twinkle’ decals, party bags provided by @rubyrabbitpartyware and embellished by @poptheballoonchildrenspartiesandevents, gold glittering bubble wands as party favours – this party had everything a little girl could wish for.

My most sincerest thanks to my beautiful clients who were completely fabulous as we finalised and delivered their event for their family and loved ones.
