Party Recap

For my son's 9th birthday, he really wanted to have a trampoline party at our local trampoline park, Sky Zone. Hosting a party at an outside venue, like a trampoline park, is great because they do most of the work for you. And, considering he wanted to invite all the boys from his class, I knew we needed to have the party somewhere they could get out some of that boy energy! However, making it a stylish, personalized party is a little trickier at an outside venue. Sam and I chose the decorations and food knowing that it would have to be easy to set up at the party.

Sam and I started planning his party together by designing the invitation shown at the top of this post. He picked a simple, colorful style that highlights the word “JUMP”. He also chose a navy, light blue, orange, and lime green color palette. I also designed a Colorful Trampoline Party Collection just for his party. The Colorful Trampoline Party Collection includes a wavy pattern that reminded me of bouncing up and down (https://www.etsy.com/listing/227421350/trampoline-party-digital-printable-party?ref=shop_home_active_1).

  • What People Ate

In addition to the pizza that was served at Sky Zone, the kids also munched on Sam’s Snack Mix. I purchased polka dot takeout boxes at Target in the Dollar Aisle. Inside, I placed a brown paper sandwich bag and filled them with Sam’s favorite chips. The boxes were decorated with navy blue personalized party circles.
