Toy story party

We did a Toy Story Party with three main themed areas: Andy’s Room, Pizza Planet, and Woody’s Round Up. Here is some helpful information and links below to help recreate this party:

Large blocks (diy): Purchased blocks from Hobby Lobby (only in stores), replaced missing letters, and painted.

Etch a Sketch (diy): purchased red trifold cardboard, used exact knife to cut square in middle, printed etch a sketch letters and traced them onto gold paper then attached, painted precut cardboard circles white, and affixed.

*for rocket: I used an exact knife to cut a red foam board in the shape of a rocket with a square opening then affixed to the machine.

Alien/guard cutouts (diy): purchased pre-painted on foam board

The Claw (diy): cut out shape of claw from cardboard with exact o knife, taped together, then covered with aluminum foil

Cupcakes (diy): used food coloring to create green frosting, purchased candy eyes for eyes, chocolate chip for mouth, sour straws for antenna and sour shapes for ears.

Treat bags (diy): purchased lime green bags from Walmart, glued on plastic eyes, drew on mouth, cut out foam antenna (see barrel of monkeys link) and affixed.

Food labels (diy): printed alien head shape, traced onto foam (see barrel of monkeys link), cut out, and wrote food names with sharpie.

Cardboard cutouts (diy): I undid 2 large cardboard boxes, used exact o knife to cut them to look like buildings, then used chalk and crayons to recreate the cardboard scenes in Andy’s Room
