Tiffany's Fiesta Mexicana

It's no secret that I absolutely adore my family and I love it when we get together. I was really excited about my little cousin Tiffany's 14th birthday, not just because I got to see her beautiful face, but because I was in charge of adding some colour to our table. Yay!

Tiff chose to have her birthday at Taco Bill so the theme was 'Tiffany's Fiesta Mexicana'. I wanted a cheery, bright look that was young at heart and not too serious - just like my family.

Taking the tables from bare to colourful was fun. I used a pinata centrepiece, a hot pink birthday girl sombrero, mexican jumping bean favours and a napkin ring.

Of course, birthdays are a great excuse to smile for the camera so I thought we could all say cheese with some props. Nothing beats a good old mo and lips combo!

After stuffing our faces with platefuls of tacos, burritos and nachos, it was time for us bring out the cake and sing happy birthday as loud as possible (for the other guests enjoyment of course). Then we stuffed our faces some more.
