Ties or Tutus Gender Reveal

My best friend and I were expecting our "last" babies at the same time. She graciously hosted a gender reveal brunch for my family as that was something I had never done for the prior four children. At the time of our ultrasound, we had our physician seal the sex of the baby in an envelope, which I gave to my friend. She made homemade carrot cake muffins and filled the inside of each with cream cheese frosting that was tinted to represent the sex of the baby - pink for a GIRL!

  As it was brunch, we served ham & cheese sliders, hash brown casserole, caramel french toast, assorted cereals, carrot cake muffins, and donuts.
