Party Recap

When Francisco was 1 year old his favorite book was “Every Little Thing” by Cedella Marley - an adaptation of the famous and beautiful lyrics we all learned to love and cherish. He could not speak much at the time but would follow me around the house with the book on his hands saying “Mommy! Marley, read!” :-) It came naturally to us to use that book as an inspiration for his second birthday party.
We wanted to have something unique, something that would celebrate his beloved book through imagery and colors. All party elements were made having this singular theme in mind - from the 3 little birds backdrop to the handmade birdhouse favors.
This is the concept of our Affective Parties. A party style that synthesizes and relates to the essence of the children's celebrations and what it means to the family and guests. With handcrafted items and a very limited number of commercial/off-the-shelf items, Affective Parties have a unique identity and represent feelings and emotions related to the child and the family.
Affective Parties have singular elements designed exclusively for this special moment and inspired by your child’s favorite toy, stuffed animal, vacation trip, books, artists, movies, places, and even people. After the party, some of the props can be used to decorate the child’s bedroom, building an everlasting memory of that special moment!

This theme is so adorable. Where was the background made? Is it able to be purchased?
