Korean Dolh/ Baby Girl First Birthday

Our whimsical Korean Dohl is based on the beautiful story book "The Wonderful Things You Will Be". We used the color palette from this but and muted some of the tones to blend softly with the soft autumn sun in October.

The Korean Dolh is a milestone birthday for asian culture. Signifies the amazing journey of the baby and new parents from the time of birth when the baby is so tiny and small to the first complete year and how many changes and developments they have made as a new family.

We chose a beautiful outdoor garden location so that guests will be transformed into a magical world where Ella can become all the wonderful things her future will show.

Our client envisioned a more modern and elegant birthday celebration so we curated all the details to be very clean and soft natural colors to blend with the natural shapes of the venue. We made sure the balloons were softly draping the backdrop and welcome area. The florals are design with sweetness and modern touches.

For the dessert table we custom designed the pieces to fit the space perfectly. Each table was allocated to flowers and elegant desserts and sweets created by our team of vendors. We used quotes from the book and personalized the backdrop with Ella's name and birthday.

The cake was the main show stopper. We wanted the cake to stand out with the beautiful sugar florals created by our talented baker. This was accomplished by having the cake color be the softest cool tone blue. Soft pink and terrocotta colors of the sugar flowers popped right out. The cool and warm contrast brings so much balance in our designs.

For favors the guests received the traditional gift of rice cake (duck) and their very own copy of the book "The Wonderful Thing You Will Be"
