Tea Party in Wonderland

After some rain it was a bit of a soggy Wonderland that greeted guests (much to my dismay) but of course the kids didn't care and had a ball.It was a mostly outside party and luckily we had a friend who put up a marquee at the last minute and so we had a number of undercover areas. Overall it was a great party and my daughter loved every minute of it with her friends..
Decorations: i made a lot tissue paper flowers with google eyes, a cardboard cut out Cheshire Cat (to hide the ugly aircon box on the wall), lots of colourful windmills & flamingos in the garden,spotty balloons, hanging teacup wind chime.
Table: Centrepiece - was a striped planter with fake flowers, wooden key, windmill, clock, and jumbo cards poked in. Borrowed a number of teapots and fob watches and collected fancy and tiered cake stands

  Queen of Hearts' Raspberry Tarts,Mini sandwiches,Mini cupcakes,Lamington bites,Mini Raspberry Swirl cheesecakes,Tic Toc biscuits,Savoury Pinwheels,Fairy bread, Cookies in rabbit, flower, mushroom and heart shapes,Fruit Skewers,Mini banana muffins

  Flavoured iced teas,Juices,Tea & Coffee,Water

• Desserts

  The amazing "Alice down the Rabbit Hole" cake - rich mud cake with ganache and fondant icing

• Party Favors

  Little prizes each child won in 'pass the parcel' eg: funny sunglasses, mini games, cards etc

• Activities / Games

  Pass the Parcel And spent a lot of time playing in the trampoline which had a tent. Planned more games but ran out of time and they were happy just playing. I also had the DVD of "Alice in W' playing in loungeroom set up with cushions and little chairs in case they wanted a break, but they all mainly stayed outside.
