Surprise Baby Shower

We did a surprise baby shower for one of the mother's in my son's classroom. The dad was contacted to bring the "Mom-to-Be" at the restaurant venue. Since, the parents wanted to keep the baby gender a surprise, we went with a generic theme of yellow and gray. We set the table with couple of baby shower themed balloons in yellow and gray and made some tabletop decorations in a small decorated pot with a paper cut dinosaur saying "Baby ready to hatch " and in another pot made a clothesline with baby onesies hanging on it. One of the mom volunteered to bake cute baby cake pops. On the "Mom-to be" we hanged a hand made stash with "MOM-to-Be" written on it. Overall, it was a fun day and the mom-to-be was very touched.
