Party Recap

Theme: Sugar and Spice and everything Nice...that’s what little girls are made of. When we found out my dear friend Ronni was having a baby girl (after having three handsome little boys) we knew we had to do something special and girly to celebrate. Sugar and Spice was perfect. With lots of glittery gold details and bold black and white patterns and some pretty coral pink, this baby shower was so much fun to style. We captured the mom-to-be’s fun and hip personality and threw in a little sweet girly goodness.

Decorations: For the decorations, I used my sugar and spice printables and handpainted the backdrop to match for a sweet dessert table. We used glittery gold vases (bought at the dollar store and spray painted to match) and pretty pink and white roses to brighten up the room. I also made tissue paper garlands and fabric banners to finish off the look.

Food: For the food, we served some sugar: orange chocolate chip scones, cannoli cups, oreo truffles, peanut brittle, chocolate cake pops, chocolate cupcakes, chocolate dipped oreos, and some spice: antipasto salad, mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, chicken cups, and italian meatballs.
