Star Wars Birthday

Somewhere...in a galaxy (not so) far away this "Modern Galaxy" dessert table was prepared for young Padawan and Jedi alike! Daniel Grove of Daniel Grove Photography (who specializes in Star Wars cosplay photography) was most definitely the 'chosen one' to capture all the ins and outs of this modern spin on everyone's favorite saga.

First off, let's talk about that cake. The genius creators at 2Tarts Bakery certainly know their stuff when it comes these two topics! Their masterful execution of the Droid/Wookie mashup cake using fondant truly brings out the fan in all of us. And those side-treats! Their Chewie-macaroons, chocolate dipped Rice Krispie treats and mint chocolate chip cookie sandwiches make for an out of this world spread.

Using some of their favorite Meri Meri party products (aren’t those pinwheels just perfect?!) and a few of their own design pieces, Once Upon A Party brought out those rustic, minimalistic vibes for a design fit for adventurous fans young and old. The backdrop was made up of their custom built, natural backdrop stand, some DIY storm trooper balloons, and the gold, black and white pinwheel set from Meri Meri. The rest of the table was arranged with natural material accents, figurine holders, confetti, and of course candy saber favors (and yes, they light up!)

To top it all off, Once Upon a Party brought in a very special guest to celebrate with this soon to be five-year-old. Their Galactic Girl costume was custom created by the team, to create an authentic experience for the birthday boy and guests!
