Splish! Splash! It's a beach bash!

For my son's 2nd birthday, I wanted to do something that I knew he would love. There is no place that he enjoys as much as the beach. He loves the ocean, which he refers to as the sea. I decided to do a general beach theme to keep things simple and added some small touches of "Finding Nemo" since he loves that movie! We rented a Terrace at Paradise Cove, which served as our venue. We thought it would be nice for people to have a section to hang out in and also, for those with kids to have safe enclosed area to hang out in. I also set up an area just outside the terrace with 2 small picnic tables for the kids to eat at, and an area off to the side with all of the toys and the blow up pool. What started off as a 2 hour party turned into a 7 hour party so it was for sure a success! Everyone had a great time and we couldn't have asked for a better group of people to celebrate our son's big day with. He had an amazing day!

  I set up a blow up pool and filled it with water, and put out a bunch of beach toys and trucks for the kids to play with.
