SOPHIA’S COWGIRL PARTY

Our designer extraordinaire, Cath, recently celebrated her daughter Sophia’s birthday with an extra pretty horse-themed party. Sophia is horse-mad and Cath has had to re-invent the wheel many a time to come up with a fresh “horse-centric” birthday party theme for a number of Sophia’s past parties!
This year, Cath came up with a pretty pastel cowgirl birthday party theme complete with a soft pink and blue color palette, flower crowns and watercolor cactuses for a feminine spin on the wild west! Sophia’s cowgirl party invitations are one of our favorite elements in the cowgirl party printables set. In watercolor shades of pink and blue, these pretty invitations feature a flower-crown laden horse, cowgirl hat, horseshoe, Western boot and cactus. https://bit.ly/3HqCiHi

Cath picked up some haybales from a local equestrian shop to further add to the horse party vibes.

As with all our parties, we do love to personalise the set up with a special banner for the birthday girl or boy. Sophia’s party was no different! Each letter on the cowgirl party birthday banner features mini bunting and a cowgirl boot or cactus, which can be edited to your daughter’s name. Customize, print onto cardboard, cut out and attach to string – ready to hang just like that!

The cowgirl party printables set also includes exclusive pendant-style bunting that adds to the shabby-chic look Cath was going for with Sophia’s party. Many of the quaint Western towns of yesteryear we see in movies feature cute signboards, so we threw in some editable signboards in the cowgirl party printables set to add to the cowgirl theme’s authenticity.

We do love a good pun here at the Sunshine Parties HQ, so we enjoyed throwing in some tongue-in-cheek horse-inspired food and drink labels in the set. This includes
“tractor wheels” for cookies, “chicken feed” for roasted corn and “watering hole” for the juice dispenser.
The cowgirl set includes watercolour cowgirl-esque cupcake toppers, cupcake wrappers and mini cake bunting that you can print out on board, cut out and pop onto sticks. To tie in with the rustic feel, Cath opted for naked vanilla to add to the rustic look and feel and choc-chip cupcakes decorated with the striped wrappers and cute toppers!
