So Sweet Safari Party

Charley’s 5 year old birthday party, held June 2024, was a combination of her two requested themes…”so sweet” and “safari animals”….referred to as the “so sweet safari party”.

Pastel colors and lots of sprinkles seemed the appropriate way to go. The safari animal cake toppers and the dessert table decorations were hand painted, hand glittered and sprinkled, and adorned with party hats, “bubble gum”, mini donuts and macaroons. For table centerpieces, half pint milk bottles were filled with pink sand to resemble strawberry milk and filled with faux donuts, bubbles, mini animals, and plastic ice cream cones.

The menu included mini pancakes and donuts, paletas, cake and smash burgers grilled on site. The party was held at a local park, with a secluded covered pavillion. The children attacked a large donut pinata, decorated their bicycles and jumped in a bouncy house.
