Shea’s Magical Unicorn Party

Our daughter Shea is obsessed with unicorns, so throwing a magical unicorn bash was a given. The party was decorated in pale pinks with pale rainbow accents. As guests arrived they were each given unicorn headbands ( for the girls) and unicorn horns ( for the boys). We also had a station to “adopt a unicorn”. Here each child filled out an adoption gift certificate & received a stuffed unicorn. Guests were encouraged to color and decorate their own unicorn masks to wear at our event. Outside we had a craft table where guests could paint their own unicorn wind chimes and color with paint pens their own unicorn slap bracelets. Our food table was decorated with rainbow sprinkle marshmallows, unicorn shaped cheese & crackers; pink and white animal cookies,;celery, carrots, and ranch served in shot glasses; powdered donuts with a sign “Dough Not Grow Up”; skittles- rainbow seeds; rainbow marshmallows- unicorn poop; kettle corn served in unicorn containers; chips and yogurt covered pretzels were served in white bowls decorated with unicorn eyes; fruit was served on a tray to resemble a rainbow; tortilla chips were served with rainbow mango salsa. Dessert was served in another room on the kitchen island. Here guests found rainbow cupcakes in unicorn cupcake holders and a small rainbow sprinkle cake for the birthday girl. A piñata filled with unicorn goodies was burst open; and last but not least two ponies dressed up as unicorns came to give the children rides around our cup de sac.

• What People Drank

  Signature drink- Shirley Temples served in glasses with lids accented with unicorns & iridescent straws. Maraschino cherries will be in a bowl next to here.

• Desserts

  Vanilla and chocolate rainbow cupcakes served in unicorn cupcake wrappers. Small cake decorated with rainbow sprinkles for the birthday girl

• Party Favors

  Adopt a Unicorn- each child was given a small stuffed unicorn with adoption certificate Unicorn piñata was filled with rainbow candy and unicorn trinkets. Each child was given a unicorn bag to fill.. Each child was given a unicorn headband ( girls) or unicorn horn ( boys) to wear
