Party Recap
For my dear friend, Sarah’s, birthday party we had a Lady and the Tramp Italian dinner party to celebrate her love of Disney. Appetizers of bruschetta, prosciutto wrapped melon, sliced baguettes with tapenade, bowls of olives, wooden cutting boards adorned with cheeses, crackers, & antipasto & bacon wrapped dates were served on our kitchen table as Italian cafe music played. Wooden candlesticks with white pillar candles and sunflower centerpieces completed the look. Italian sodas & wine quenched our guests thirst. Dinner was served in the dining room. Our table was set with a red & white checkered tablecloth with a sunflower centerpiece and a single sunflower placed at each place setting. A Tony’s restaurant menu mimicking the one in Lady and the Tramp was also placed at each place setting letting our guests know what they could expect for dinner. Dinner consisted of an Italian salad, spaghetti and meatballs, and fettuccine carbonara served family style. Dessert was served in the living room- a lovely mint chocolate cake- the birthday girl’s favorite, Our evening concluded with games played as we enjoyed our cake, coffee, and great conversations.
