Party Recap

Our small iso celebration to celebrate Sammy turning 3. With just immediate family we still wanted to make the occasion special. The idea came from an unstyled event we had planned earlier in the year, so we had all the inspo for a pizza party and decided to use it towards this mini celebration.
Keeping it simple, we had our picnic table setup in the living room, with just a few artificial potted plants as décor. To make it look like a pizza shop we added some cute little ‘pizza menu’s’ and as take-home favours we had some pizza cookies inside mini pizza boxes which we had so much fun creating! My sister was in the kitchen on pizza making duty, and once everyone had their orders in she made up some yummy mini pizza’s which were served on their own wooden board. To drink we kept is simple with some red fanta served in carafs and decorated with some little labels used throughout the party. Cohesiveness is a big element to any kids party! Use the same design or colours over and over again to bring the elements together.
Around the room, we had a chalkboard ‘welcome’ sign with some fun helium balloons (something about it just screams little shop on the corner!). You might recognise the pop up stand we used for the backdrop of this pizza shop – an old Ikea find that’s been sitting in our shed for a few years. We brought it out specially for this fun theme, and had some wooden pizza’s on top and tools for Sam to have some fun with while he waited for dinner. Kids always love playing pretend and it was so cute watching him play shop!
The toys we brought out for the occasion from the kids toy room, and added a small balloon garland to, to match the theme more.
My favourite elements of this event though is out balloon garland over the little table setting! Adding in the paper fans and paper garland just added all new fun elements to the garland as well as those Italian foil balloons! Cosied up underneath we had a little kids table with some crayon boxes and activity books setup for the kids. And what pizza parlour would it be if we didn’t also have some pasta on the menu?
Another fun element we added to finish off the space was Sam’s delivery bike – Just a fun quirky element that makes the styling fun again! He loved the setup, and the cake was of course a pizza design too! Throughout the whole party you will see the same fonts, and colours used on all the stationary creating that cohesiveness and bringing all the elements together.
So much fun creating this fun theme!

Where did you get the jar labels, straw flags, and labels around the drinks? I'd love to purchase if you created them yourself!
