Party Recap

This theme fits our son so well. He's the baby of two boys but by no means is he a "little" little brother. He has a healthy appetite and is already wearing 24 month clothes. Our little lumberjack had a great time at his party. I used plaid, burlap, and wooden accents around our home with some "natural" elements as well. (i.e. pine and antler picks from Hobby Lobby) We went with a brunch menu since the party started at 11:00 and I chose simple, kid and adult friendly foods so that everyone would be happy. For the cake, I went with a "naked cake" since it had the rustic feel. The cake topper, bear candle, signage, and decor are all DIY.
