Party Recap

We celebrated sweet Riley's first birthday with a Winter Onderland party. The weather was wet and deary so it was a good thing we planned for the big event to be indoors. The colors were pink, blue and white with lots of sparkle. Since her party was on January 3, mama was able to get all of the decorations for over 50 percent off. Most of the items were DIY projects like the tutu for the high chair and the signs. Both my husband and I have big families so we had to think of creative ways to feed lots of guests. Our menu featured three kinds of chili, chicken tenders, fruit salad and lots of kid friendly munchies. I love the DIY bar concepts so we had a set up for the chili fixins and a hot chocolate bar for the kids.
