Party Recap

This vintage rainbow party was created for my daughter's 10th birthday. I wanted this party to have an old fashioned feel to it, resembling the type of party a child would have had in the 70's! My inspiration pieces were sunshine yellow and sky blue chenille bedspreads which I used as tablecloths. As a fan of the simpler life, my goal was to not have structured party games, but to give the children freedom to play. I did, however, incorporate a time of cupcake decorating to give a focus to the party. As always, I love having wonderful take home favours for each guest. Plastic milk bottles filled with rainbow jelly beans, clear bags with rainbow Twizzlers and gold coins, retro party hats and handmade paper bags filled with sweet treats were available for each child to take home.
