P's Nerf Out Party

My P wanted a Nerf War Party with his buddies but let me tell y'all it was HOT! Would have been cool later at night with lights and all SWAT-like, but my kiddo is 5 and that would have been waaaay over his head. What we did- to prepare we had to make the obstacle structures with the cardboard boxes all taped together and spray painted orange and blue camouflage and we put all those structures on the Battle Zone. For the training station we prepared with marker tape and sticks for an army crawl station and targets to shoot on the fence. We asked the friends that joined us to BYON (Bring Your Own Nerf gun) and once all together the first event was to bust open the piñata to receive all the ammo they need for their Nerf guns. Next we headed over to the training area to practice army crawling races and target shooting. Then we divided up into teams and had the Nerf War Battle. They played until they could sweat no more and then we recharged with snacks, waters, and gatorades.
