Post Script Papery's Run for the Roses Party
ByParty Recap
For years, the watching of the "Greatest Two Minutes in Sports" has been a fun family tradition. In 2015 designing and styling this Kentucky Derby Celebration had all the thrill of watching those Thoroughbreds racing to the finish! I focused the details on the traditions of the Derby and used my invitation design as a Springboard for the décor. Green was the key background color from the mossy runners, grass details, to the fresh mint in the juleps. Black and White was used as an accent and red roses were used throughout to punch home the glory of the Derby. Guests had many opportunities to have some silly fun - from the photo ops to the MADLibs, and of course placing their bets. The cordial competition lead to many laughs and great fun. In their Derby hats, bow ties and attire, everyone imbibed and ate until the big race began. When the race was complete, the party continued and a wonderful Annual Spring Event was born!
This event was designed, styled and hosted by Diana Sacchinelli of Post Script Papery.
