Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

For dinner we served kalua pork sliders and a green salad. We also had a grazing table full of all sorts of treats from a cheese plate and fruit tray to

  • What People Drank

You can't have a Luau Party without serving some tropical beverages! We mixed up a large batch of mai tai punch to avoid the mess of making individual drinks. Check out the recipe below, which serves 20-25 people and is sure to be a hit with your guests. Mai Tai Punch Recipe: 1 - 96 oz. Orange Juice 1 - 48 oz. Pineapple Juice 1 cup Grenadine Syrup 1 cup Almond Syrup 5 cups Malibu Rum Optional: 1 fifth Meyers Dark Rum (Place next to punch dispenser for guests to float one shot on top)

  • Desserts

The Dessert Table featured an assortment of cheesecake among chocolate pretzels and tropical Rice Krispies treats! Want to make your own? • Party Favors

Every guest received a faux flower lei upon entering the party. They were also given a plastic, reusable coconut cup with a paper straw, which displayed heir name on a tropical straw flag. This also helped the guests keep track of their beverage during the party!

  • Activities / Games

The games included a Hula Hoop Contest, Limbo Pole Contest, Tumbling Timbers Game and Hawaii Trivia. We used the printable Pixels And Pop Luau Contest Pack for the activity signs and prize ribbons. There was also a festive photo booth with tropical props purchased from Dollar Tree.
