Summary:

Mom (Massi) found some adorable boho rainbow birthday inspiration on Instagram and Pinterest and decided it would be the perfect theme for Perrine's 1st birthday party. The muted natural vibe was perfect for the space we rented at Graham's 318 Coffee House in Geneva, Illinois.

We decided to do a focal wall to both greet guests and be the backdrop behind Perrine's cake smash. The focal wall included a muted ombre balloon rainbow displayed over a play tent filled with soft floor pillows. Banners decorated the tent, high chair and an adorable toy cart. A large llama and some sweet dolls were included for our little guests to play with during the party. The adorable birthday cakes were adorned with a rainbow topper and fresh flowers and was surrounded by balloon clouds. A boho-inspired floral arrangement completed the look. It was such a show-stopper to walk into this sweet display!

The long guest tables were set with macrame runners, colorful boho-style centerpieces, dusty rose votives and gold succulents. There were also three small tables that had tiny cactus vases with flowers in them.

Perrine was dressed to match the colors of her party in an adorable yellow ochre polka dot jumper with ivory shirt and the sweetest little shoes.

Guests dined on breakfast sandwiches, a yogurt bar, croissants and quiches. Water, coffee and assorted fresh-squeezed juices were also served.

For dessert, delicious donuts, chocolates and birthday cake were featured.

Guests received a lovely candle as the favor and everyone had a wonderful time at the party! Especially our sweet birthday girl Perrine! What a memorable, wonderful day!
