Party Recap
What could be sweeter than a pig in a tiara? Turning 5 is a huge deal, so I wanted to make sure that this party felt extra special. I hand drew a silhouette on light pink poster board and wrote the birthday girl's name in hot pink. I cut the tiara from sparkly gold cardstock. I spray painted an old hula hoop gold and hung it all on the backdrop. I made giant paper flowers from cardstock and used them as accents all around the dessert table. Nothing saves a budget and makes a big impact like a DIY balloon arch. Instead of traditional goodie bags, we opted for these adorable ceramic rain boots. They can reused as a planter or catchall. The birthday girl was beyond thrilled from the moment she walked in.
