Pastel Party Animal 1st Birthday Party

When coming up with the theme for the 1st birthday party, we wanted something fun for the kids, yet elegant for all the guests to enjoy!
- The pastel color palette was used throughout the tablescape and party decor.
- Matching custom party hats were made for the children and miniature animal statues.
- With mostly jungle animals represented, we added a penguin to the mix because the birthday girl had a special penguin doll she loved.
- Venue was a beautiful open space loft in Union Square, NYC

• What People Ate

  Italian style brunch buffet which included prosciutto, panini, mini quiche, polpettine, quinoa e farro, and caprese to name a few. Cakes.

• What People Drank

  Beverages guests enjoyed were bellinis and mimosas, prosecco, beer, Lavazza drip coffee, and more.

• Desserts

  Dessert was the the venue's house specialty bomboloni- doughnuts filled with jelly, chocolate, or custard cream plus the custom made birthday cake made by Nine Cakes with their seasonal special flavors in gingerbread and winter citrus.

• Party Favors

  Adults received traditional Korean rice cakes as favors while the kids took home fun custom party hats, custom crayons (in shape of animals) and bubble wands.

• Activities / Games

  Most of the children that attended the party were very young, so we had a small area set up with a shag rug, floating animal balloons, and a bubble machine for the children to enjoy.
