Parker's Pink & Gold Race Car Party

Parkers 4th Annual Cannonball Run Road Race
This gold & pink road race party was created for my daughter Parker! She is the perfect mix of Princess & Warrior and has a huge love of cars!
She's wanted her cars painted gold for quite a while so this was the perfect opportunity to give her a mighty girl party.
It is inspired by the old Herbie movies and cross country car movies like "Cannonball Run" - hers is a race down route 4.
World wide party customized the party printables using this theme, they were perfect, vintage pink cars, gold flames and race car helmets!
I spray painted wheelbarrow tires, toy cars, oil funnels and race tracks got hold of pink tool boxes and racing to combine with pretty pink tulle and tissue décor.
The dessert table was the auto shop so I used pegboard as a backdrop and clipped the race sign. Every racecar needs a pit stop and every child loves candy so we also had a "Jelly Belly" pit stop. Their dispensers made great fueling stations!
I found a large cardboard cut-out of a pink car and used it as a photo booth, this was a big hit with kids and adults alike and Parker drove her friends around wearing a helmet, gloves and googles! You can get creative with your signs and labels and use car terminology, we had mini road signs that I used on the tables and for food labelling. The main eating table provided some with a gold race track and gold cars for kids to race. I also used cardboard popcorn holders in the shape of vintage pink Cadillac's, fun for eating & driving around the party room.
Favors were for making with parents at home - mini Car-rariums. Snow & cars inside a plastic reusable mason jar.
