Party Recap
This is my first proper dessert table and it was for my Parisian Soiree 30th. After a trip to Paris last year I took inspiration from the Palace of Versaille... I fell in love with the decadence of Marie Antoinette. The colour scheme was inspired by the movie 'Marie Antoinette' featuring Kirsten Dunst. My husband and I designed and put everything together, from the invitation to the miniature bunting to the chocolate wrappers to the Eiffel Pop Toppers. Most of the food was made by me (except the Croquembouche which was made by a local French Pâtisserie) My amazing Mum made the white satin ruffle tablecloth.
I also had a 'Le Cafe' table with the tea and coffee (and many more delicacies!), as well as a 'Fromage' table with delicious cheeses and savouries! I also transformed my stairwell into a French Art Gallery!
It was a lot of work but I was very happy with the result and had a fantastic night!

Hi Holly! Thanks for all your lovely comments :) I actually made the chalk boards. I bought white foam core board from a craft shop, cut it to shape and then painted it with chalkboard paint! Everyone had a lot of fun with them :)
