Party Recap

Kellie and I created a Paris in the Springtime birthday party for my three-year old twins. This party was almost entirely DIY. We created everything from the decorations (except the pom poms....thank you Prost to the Host!) to the desserts (except for the Eiffel Tower chocolates...thank you to my fabulous aunt Gail the Craft Diva) ourselves! We choose a pink and champagne color palette to set the tone. We loved creating the rosette lollipop topiaries, they were so much fun! We have a tutorial on our blog so that others can
re-create them for their parties! Our favorite part of the entire party had to be the dessert table! We draped the gold mirror with one of our glittered letter garland signs and adorned the walls with hand-made paper rosettes. A pink lace overlay was set on top of the table, which gave such a soft and sweet look. We made all of the desserts from scratch which included mini cupcakes with French buttercream, French macarons, creme puffs, palmiers and a strawberry napoleon. My twins had a great time watching us create everything for their party and we let them help wherever they could! It was very rewarding to see it all come together and we had such a wonderful time preparing everything for my girls!!
