Over the Rainbow Wizard of Oz Birthday Party

My daughter is obsessed with Wizard of Oz, so it was the perfect theme for her birthday party! My husband hand painted an Emerald City backdrop and we had tons of fun using props of every character in the movie! We played games, including pin the heart on Tin Man and build the tallest Emerald City, using uncooked spaghetti noodles. I took pages from a Wizard of Oz calendar that I had and used as party decor. The party was also decorated with a homemade tornado, poppies as well as clouds with bluebirds and a hot air balloon too! We had a yellow brick road leading guests to the house and the wicked witches feet coming from under the house to greet our guests and handmade party hats for each character in the movie!
