Selected as Party of the Day on November 15th!
Our Wildest Adventure Yet - Baby Smithall Due December 2020
ByParty Recap
Safari is one of my most popular children’s party themes, so when my sister Tyrel decided she would like a safari-themed baby shower, I wanted to accomplish a stylish take of this popular theme.
For the picnic tables, I wanted a fresh colour palette of vibrant green which would pop against crisp white tables. We achieved this using a mix of fresh and preserved foliage which paired beautifully with the greyish-green stoneware plates, green linen napkins, and white with gold cutlery.
We showcased the semi-naked cake in front of our white arch, with a suspended acrylic sign which read "Our Wildest Adventure Yet – Baby Smith all Due December 2020", - fitting for first-time expectant parents. The arch was decorated with a foliage spray, again constructed with a mix of fresh and preserved foliage, and balloons to match our colour palette.
Desserts included safari-themed cakesicles in a gorgeous shade of green with gold animal heads, animal print donuts, salted caramel marshmallows, Oreo tarts with caramel centres, salted caramel cheesecake pots, and a gorgeous set of cookies with hand-painted animals to match the shower invite.
For game prizes, bottles of rose tea with cute 'Baby is Brewing' labelling and tins of coconut vanilla lip scrub were decorated with monstera leaves to tie in with the theme.
I am so grateful to the incredible vendor friends who helped me achieve this vision for my sister’s shower:

I'm interested in your centerpieces. I live in New York. Is there any place here I can get these made?
