Our Beauty, and the Beast

My daughter's favorite movie for the last year was Beauty and the Beast, so this theme was fitting. For the weeks leading up to the big day, she would randomly say "Beast coming to my house!" But sometimes, she would get nervous and revoke his invitation. When he finally arrived, with Belle, she did not want to approach him. Rather, she watched from a distance (and even played with her best friend in her room!). I am glad that we hired them though, because they led the kids in games, handed our prizes, and did parachute play. The Beast even presented her with her big gift, a bike.

• What People Ate

  We had a taco cart.

• What People Drank

  Soda, beer, water, juice and a huge jug of lemonade.

• Desserts

  Full dessert bar and three tiered cake

• Party Favors

  Every guest received beg with a Little Golden Book "Beauty and the Beast" as well as smaller favors such as glow sticks or spinners.

• Activities / Games

  Belle and Beast led the games, which freed up time for me to visit.

  This is the second year in a row I have used her and I plan to continue! My balloon girl was in the hospital, and although balloons are not what Lesly usually does, she arrived early and made a beautiful balloon garland to frame the dessert bar!
