Selected as Party of the Day on April 7th!
Oliver's Barnyard Bash
ByParty Recap
For our little boy’s second birthday, I decided to throw a party around his love of animals and his love of the outdoors. Set outdoors against a big, red barn, Oliver’s Barnyard Bash was everything I hoped it would be. I chose a sweet, boyish color scheme of blue and green, and I opted to forgo the cowboy boots and hay, by focusing instead on the barnyard animals. This allowed me the freedom to add in lots of preppy touches, like the darling blue gingham seen on the tablecloth and the personalized chair. Some of my favorite party elements were the barnyard animal macarons, the monogrammed birthday outfit, the fondant animals atop the cake, and the beautiful hydrangea centerpiece. Party guests loved the animal cookies and the little lamb cake pops. It was such a sweet day. Oliver had the best time being the center of attention and eating lots of cake, and my Momma heart was so full seeing how happy he was.
