Party Recap

As planning parties is my life, Nole assured me that I could plan her shower before she was even pregnant – I’m not even sure she was trying at the time. But when the good news did come, I immediately asked Nole’s very good friend Maggie to host it with me, as she is also a super talented hostess who knows Nole and Andy so well. At that time, we had just come back from the 2012 National Stationery Show, where I had noticed Nole’s affinity for constellation designs. Encouraged by another friend, we decided to make this a constellation themed shower.

Nole asked us to work with Sugar Paper for the invitation. Collaborating with them could not have been more fun. We came up with a fantastic white and kraft double-sided die-cut invitation featuring gold foil, letterpress, calligraphy and a constellation pattern. Navy was our accent color, and we used it in the vintage astronomy-themed postage.
