NL's 2nd B(ee)Day Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree Party!

This was a classic Winnie the Pooh themed birthday party, featuring the vintage illustrations and the storyline of the book, "Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree." I upcycled some small Ikea lanterns that I wasn't using by painting them golden for the hive and glued mini bees to some jewellery wire I bought. I also hung green leaves to give the sense of being in the Hundred acre forest.

  Carrot faux-souffle, Rabbit's vegetable garden with hummus, Tigger's stripes (blueberries and cantaloupes)

  Lemon-poppy seed cake with ermine buttercream frosting, medovnik (Russian honey cake), banana-spinach oat muffins (aka the baby cake)
