My twin boys turned 5 and to celebrate we had a ninja theme. We decided to have the party at Okami Martial Arts for a fun lesson and activity for them and their friends. After the class, they had some treats and opened gifts.
What People Drank
Each place setting had a 'green tea', which was fruit punch.
The dessert table consisted of chocolate and strawberry cupcakes, dipped pretzels (ninja swords), cherry sour candy, ninja candy sticks, sugar cookies, wafer cookies (black belts), gummy sticks (shaped like dragons), green jelly beans (edamame) and candy sushi.
On each place setting, our guests were given a ninja headband and belt, a rice ball (coconut cake ball), and fortune cookie. Inside their take out boxes were ninja throwing stars, candy ninja sticks, and topped with a ninja pencil.
Activities / Games
The activity was a lesson from Sensei Crystal, learning fighting and blocking moves, rolls and weaponry. The kids had tons of fun and ended off with treats, cupcakes and the gift opening.
