Oh No 30th Birthday! With A New Orleans King Cake

This party was planned for my brother's 30th birthday. His birthday always has fallen around the Mardi Gras holidays down here in New Orleans and we've had king cake for as long as I can remember. He isn't a big cake person, but loves King Cake, so it was only fitting that we had a big "3-0" king cake for his birthday! I incorporated his favorite colors purple and black for all the decor. The centerpieces were hand sewn felt Oh No 30s with balloon bases. A birthday banner with a plastic tablecloth backdrop finished it off. It was a small get together, but everyone had a great time.
