Modern geometric 18th Birthday Party

I created this modern dessert table and donut bar for my son who was turning 18. I wanted it to appeal to teenagers and have a trendy edge. I kept the theme mostly monochromatic, but couldn't resist adding a splash of electric blue to the colour scheme. The donut board was full of Krispy Kreme donuts hung onto a peg board with builders nails. I made the cake stands by gluing concrete cutting boards to candle holders from KMart. I also used cheap wire baskets as risers and a circular decorative shelf to hold the cupcakes.
