Minnie Mouse 3rd Birthday

Our daughter was turning 3 and absolutely adored Minnie Mouse so this theme was a no-brainer. I ordered a personalized deluxe Minnie party printable set on Etsy which I had printed at Kinkos. I made all of the decorations, signs, party favors, place settings etc... from these. It was very time consuming but the pay off was well worth it. I also ordered my daughter a custom Minnie party dress on Etsy which made her feel like Princess Minnie twirling around in it.

I was fortunate enough to find hot pink & zebra print party tableware at our local Dollar Tree store which fit right in with the theme. I made Minnie bow plates by using a black dinner plate and two dessert plates as ears. I used a free online printable as the bow and reformatted it to fit the plate.

I made all of the girls Minnie Mouse bow ears from a pack of headbands, black sparkle foam my hot glue gun and hot pink & white polka-dot wire ribbon. I displayed them on a table with the sign "If you've got ears say cheers!" All of the little Minnie's looked adorable in these, a few of the ladies wore them too.

I made Minnie Mouse lanterns by adding two pom-pom decorations as ears and hot pink & white polka-dot ribbon for the bow. These looked darling hanging up.

We hosted a family barbeque in our backyard serving Hot Diggity Dogs (of course), brats, mini pita sandwiches, chips, potatoes salad, & fruit we also set out veggie and cheese trays for snacking. I printed Minnie themed food tents for the table.

We devoured chocolate and vanilla cupcakes decorated with hot pink frosting, white polka-dots and Mini Oreo ears for dessert. We had music playing and lots of refreshments for our guests. There were some back yard games and the girls blew bubbles. Everyone had a great time and our little Minnie loved her party!

  Minnie Mouse chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with hot pink frosting, white polka-dots and Mini Oreo ears.

  Minnie Mouse bow ears, Minnie bubbles, Oh Toodles thank you goody bag filled with custom Minnie miniature wrapped candy bars, hershey kisses, and lollies.
