Melbourne Cup Inspired Lunch

This gorgeous client brief was a black and white themed Melbourne Cup lunch with a grey horse cake. we loved styling the day for them and chose a striking black and white backdrop with bold stripes complimented with a black tablecloth drawing the focus to their amazing cake. We fell in love with this gorgeous cake and those adorable eyes and rosy cheeks:) We cut out artificial grass for coasters and had tent cards designed to match the backdrop. Every setting had horse shoe for good luck - they must always face up so the luck falls in as if they face down the luck will fall out. We place freshly cut gardenias at every setting and the room was filled with the most beautiful fragrance form them.A fabulous event and beautiful clients.
