Party Recap

Meagan's Rainbow extravaganza was a burst of color. Most of the supplies came from the loonie store. I used lots of streamers and plastic table clothes to brighten up the room. I had a local lady embroidery a personal shirt and made a fluffy and fun rainbow tutu. My daughter's quirky style jazzed up the rest of the ensemble. It was a warm summer day so the kids spend most of the party running and playing in the yard.

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

Veggies n' dip formed into a rainbow, fruit arranged in colors of the rainbow, assorted sweets and rainbow sugar cookies.

  • Desserts

    Confetti cake with marshmallow fondant.

  • Party Favors

Rainbow whirligigs, rainbow water bottle and rainbow lollipops.

  • Activities / Games

Party games included a "punch board", and musical chairs. I bought small prizes from the loonie store, placed them in Styrofoam bowls and wrapped each bowl in colored tissue paper. Holes were cut in a large box to hold the bowls. The kids punched holes in the tissue to reveal their prize.
