Party Recap
I design and sell party printables, so when my son wanted a reptile party I jumped at the chance to use my own products. I had a great time putting it all together. Our guests were guided up the front walk by paper-chain snakes, to a front porch decorated with plush snakes and a plush crocodile. As they came in the front door, just to the right was a bright and inviting dessert buffet, overloaded with sweets and fun toys. Some of my favorite details were the cake (which I fashioned after one I found on Pinterest by Sweets by Sonia), the snake-in-a-can party favors, the reptile-print paper table runner/coloring page/wrapping paper (my product), and the Michael Carr iguana. All of the chalkboard style printables, the cupcake toppers, and the table runner are available at www.etsy.com/shop/melindabryantphoto The awesome reptile show was put on by Scales and Tails of Utah.

In Melbourne Australia there is an outfit that do great reptile parties for kids birthday entertainment. They are at http://www.snakebusters.com.au/kp4.htm and are amazing. I haven't seen anyone in the states that is quite as full on as these people in that the Aussies even bring deadly snakes, surgically devenomized and safe to the place to add to the wow factor. The snakes like it as well as they get handled by hand instead of by stick and the education for the kids is great.
