Party Recap

Little Matthew was hungry for some birthday fun! Especially considering we planned every detail around his favourite bedtime story, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Matthew's Daddy also known as Chef Anthony Craven created a fun party menu based on what the hungry caterpillar ate, for all the party guests to enjoy! We took great pleasure in putting together some fun, creative activities for our little party guests! Erina from OhCarroll created the gorgeous invitation and thank you tag! Felicity from Styled by Felicity took all the beautiful photos of the day. Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

apples pears plums strawberries oranges chocolate cake ice-cream cones pickles swiss cheese salami lollipops cherry pie sausages, and watermelon

  • Desserts

The focal point of the food table was the delicious vanilla cupcakes Tony baked and iced in green and red. we arranged them into the shape of a hungry little caterpillar.

  • Party Favors

We baked sugar cookies in the shape of little butterfly's, iced and decorated them with coloured sugar and 100s and 1000s. The butterfly cookies were wrapped in cellophane with a cute tag attached.

  • Activities / Games

We took great pleasure in putting together some fun creative activities for our little party guests! we created an arts and crafts station, with loads of different crayons, pencils and textas to use when colouring the hungry caterpillar. We also included some paints, glue, googly eyes, wooden pop sticks, pom poms, chenille sticks, and empty egg cartons so the little party guests could get creative making their very own hungry caterpillar.
