Party Recap

Nee-naw! Nee-naw! Sound the alarm! And grab your gear! You are invited to join us for a blazing hot celebration as I take you through Matthew’s 3rd birthday, inspired by his interest in fire engines! Burning with details hot and fiery I am confident you are going to love this party!

This memorable third birthday fired up a whole bunch of little party heroes. As soon as the little party guests arrived it was like they had stepped into a fire station! They were met with a genuine retired 1960 Bedford Fire Engine, with Fireman Kevin at the wheel, and Firefighter Matthew ready to welcome all the little fire chiefs on board!

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

We heard that the little Firefighters would be hungry after the fire drill, so we leapt into action, and were real heroes creating this red hot menu that set their taste buds alight: blazing burgers caramel popcorn fiery fruit cups firetruck rolls flaming peppermint slice hero cookies red hot jellies selection of lollies, and sweet potato & roasted cashews and roasted beetroot humus, crudities, and crisp breads

  • What People Drank

The little firefighters had loads of fun putting out imaginary fires with Fireman Kevin from Fire Engine Fun! This fun drinks station quenched their thirst with a choice of raspberry cordial which we named Firetruck Fuel and water which we named Fire Hydrant Water.

  • Desserts

I had the great pleasure of teaming up with Lisa from Cakes to Celebrate by Lisa who created this showstopper of a cake! This fabulous fire truck not only looked amazing but tasted delicious too! Layers of vanilla mud cake met with layers of strawberry ganache which set our taste buds on fire! It was absolute perfection!

  • Party Favors

We were eager to show our gratitude to our friends for coming to celebrate with little Matthew. I really enjoy creating little gifts. On this occasion I created some play doh and play doh cutter wrapped in cellophane topped with a personalised favor tag. Each pot of play doh had a cute tag saying: Stop. Dough. Roll.

  • Activities / Games

A celebration isn’t a party without entertainment right? Fireman Kevin from Fire Engine Fun came along and joined the fun at Matthew’s 3rd Birthday celebration! The genuine retired 1960 Bedford Fire Engine was an absolute showstopper with Fireman Kevin at the wheel he took all the excited little party guests on a ride around the streets of Kingsley. Firefighter Matthew had the very important job of ringing the bell and boy did he do it well. Fireman Kevin took all the little Fire Chiefs through some fire drills including using the firehose and all! A group photo was arranged. Best of all was the presentation whereby little Matthew was presented with a certificate as an Honorary Firefighter.
