Matteo's First Birthday

This is far from a professional party set up, but I am incredibly proud of the outcome, as I made everything myself, from the invitations, to the party banners, pom poms, painted Sully wrapping paper for the juice covers, the food, cupcakes and the cake (and all that with two sick babies at home). This was also my first attempt at such a detailed cake, not too mention my first ever two-tiered cake. The figures on top of the cake were the only things, other than the little bit of candy that we had, that were store bought. :-)

• What People Ate

  Mini quiche, vegetable sticks with dips, fruit platter, cupcakes, cake pops, candy and cake

• What People Drank

  Water and juice for the children and soft drinks, coffee and tea for the adults

• Desserts

  Cake

• Party Favors

  Thank you bags with tags which the guests could fill themselves with candy.

• Activities / Games

  Bubble machine, a toy corner and a drawing table for the older children.
