Mahalia's Fairy Butterfly Tea 5th Birthday Party

I set up their playroom as the craft room and our dining room as the tea room. When kids walked in they made pop together necklaces and had face jewels and glitter put on by our cousin's daughter who dressed up as a fairy. Then we read two books about tea parties (Fancy Nancy and a Bear Tea) before sitting down to tea with fairy cookies, macaroons, cake pops, madelines, palmieres and butterfly pimento cheese sandwiches. After this she had a fairy butterfly cake I decorated with fondant (my first time ever doing this). After this the girls went back to the craft room for some fairy house decorating. At the end we had the girls take little polaroids - 1 for them and 1 for the Birthday girl's album.

  Every attendee was given a set of wings decorated with flowers, wands, fairy crowns and a little butterfly necklace in a butterfly favor box.
